Castle Point Gas & Heating has been sponsoring and helping out in the local community for over 40 years with various activities and events around our area.
CHARITY EVENTS
At our office every year we put on a halloween event for the local children.this is a free event but donations are greatfully received.
we have various games for the children and parents to take part in like "knock the heads off the zombies",electric chair, witches hands and bat the rat etc.
Our suppliers also get involved and donate prizes for the best fancy dress.
over the years we have raised over £3000 which we donate to Little Havens Hospice.
Benfleet Christmas Sleigh
In 2023, we brought the Christmas sleigh to Benfleet to support local charities! With enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a fantastic experience for everyone. Spreading holiday cheer and making a positive impact in our community. Together, we can create a memorable christmas for young and old! and raised over £4000 to date.
LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAM SPONSORSHIP
Castle Point Gas sponsor various local football teams which provides them with shirts and footballs.
LOCAL SWIMMING CLUB SPONSORSHIP
We help out our local swimming club by sponsoring galas and donating to help keep this club going.
ESSEX WILDLIFE TRUST
This woodland, formerly known as Cottage Plantation, was bought by Essex Wildlife Trust in 2013 thanks to a donation from the Wells family(Castle Point owners)and is named after Valerie Wells. Its trees include oak, hornbeam, sweet chestnut and wild service, with bluebell and common cow-wheatgrowing beneath them.
SOUTHEND HOSPITAL
At Christmas the girls from the office delivered toys we donated to the children's ward at southend hospital.
LOCAL SCHOOL SPONSORED
Castle point help out with our local schools summer trips and donate towards activities
CHARITY GOLF EVENTS
Every year Castlepoint Gas & Heating engineers, supervisors,office staff and management take on Southend Golf Club in a charity event.
